Mrs. Jeannie Carella has been the director and owner since 1989.   She currently directs and presents our annual dance recital held in June.   She choreographed for the Brockport High School Theater for 10 years; her students have won numerous awards at dance competitions in the Buffalo, Rochester & Syracuse area.  She has served as a judge in local talent shows and routinely pursues dance classes and attends workshops in New York City where she takes classes from Charles Goddertz, Lynn Schwab and Lesley Lockery.  Miss Jeannie's studio also marches annually in the Hamlin Parade and has participated in the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong Benefit Talent for Tots and Teens.  


Mrs. Kathy Carella-Peacock  - began dancing at the age of 3 and has been teaching dance at Jeannie's Dance Connection for over twenty years.  She currently works full time at the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital as a Communications/Analyst since 1995.  She is a proud parent to Ryan James and Emily Jean.  Many of her students have received awards at regional dance competitions.  Miss Kathy pursues dance classes and workshops locally.   In the 2010 - 2011 dance year her students won hi-overall for petite jazz duet, 12 & younger most entertaining number in the TTB dance competition and petite small jazz group hi overall.

Miss Jamie Porteus began dancing at the age of 3 and has been teaching dance for 10 years at JDC.  Prior to that, she  was a dance assistant for six years.  She currently choreographs for Brockport High School ‘s Musical Theater Department where she has won 1st Place Stars of Tomorrow awards for choreography.  Her students have received top awards at regional competitions and a National Dance Competition in New Hampshire where they placed 8th hi overall over 60 duet/trios. Miss Jamie is the proud mother of Lillian Rose.

Miss Megan Ritzel has been dancing with Jeannie's Dance Connection since 1989 at the age of 3 and has been a dance assistant for over the past 12 years. She has competed in numerous dance competitions and won awards in jazz & tap dance styles in the Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse area. She is a recent Graduate of an Accounting degree and currently work at JPMorgan Chase as a Default Research HOA/COA/Co-Op Sr. Operations Specialist since June of 2011.



Miss Megan Fribance has been dancing with Jeannie's Dance Connection since she was 6 years old!   Miss Meggie is a 2017 Holley Central School graduate and is attending Brockport State majoring in psychology.    She will be assisting Ms. Kathy on Tuesday evenings and subbing as needed.  We are proud to have her teaching at JDC!



Miss Ally Lindke has been dancing since she was 3 years old and competitively for 6 years before attending The College at Brockport where she earned a degree in Dance and Psychology. She has competed in numerous dance competitions and won awards in jazz, lyrical and contemporary group and solos divisions. Throughout her years of dancing, Miss Ally has assisted, taught, choreographed and been a substitute for studios in her hometown. Most recently Ally has graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Masters in Social Work. She taught Hip Hop at JDC during her senior year at Brockport and is thrilled to be back teaching JDC dancers again!
